Brodner's Person of the Day: U.S. Bridge Team

November 14, 2007

Members of the U.S. bridge team, which last month won the world championship in Shanghai. They are now facing sanctions for holding up a sign disclaiming all responsibility for the monstrosity the U.S. has become under the corrupt and perverted hand of Bush & Co. The U.S. Bridge Federation actually says it can cancel free speech within its confines. Very interesting. What does it think this country is about, I wonder. These ladies all deserve our total support. The truth has its own purposes. Besides, who among us doesn't travel abroad without the icky feeling of suspecting the Bush BO your hosts think you have. You're not just whistlin' Dixie, Chicks.

Good on them. At least they got the guts to come up and stand for what they believe in and the truth, unlike many others who have some balls to buy. Bush has done more damage to America as a World player then he could ever do to Iraq and Iraqis in a decade of invasion. Women like them should be honored for their fight. FINALLY!!! I love these people! Why people in the U.S. are not out protesting in the streets after what the jerks in D.C. are doing is beyond me. It is time to protest, time to take get our country back. It is time to re-interduce democracy within our own borders.

I support these women 100%. As Americans they have the right to express their opinion whenever and where ever they wish. I don't blame them for wanting their counterparts to know they do not support the tyrant BUSH. I can't imagine how embarassing and frustrating it must be to be an American visiting in another country at this time. Is it just me or are others not appalled that our "Leader" has pissed on our country, our laws, our constitution, and has made a mockery of the sacrifice made by all those who fought, gave their lives/limbs to ensure our freedom of speech and protection under the constitution? People who are against these women just don't get it. They are so narrow minded that they can't see their noses to spite their big fat stupid heads.

Fascism is the flavor of this regime. And an important subtopic for them is "get the women". Please observe how women get pounced on by other women and men from the right and get punished more often and more severely than men for the same crimes. If one of these women bridge players apologizes, I will go to her house and spank her personally.
